Who is this service for?
Anyone planning or arranging care in later life: for yourself, for the two of you as a couple, for parents, a relative or friend, or for someone you act for under a power of attorney.
What happens after I send an enquiry?
We read it carefully and reply by email within two working days, confirming whether a Care Options Report is right for your situation. There's no obligation to go ahead. If you do, we send an invoice, and once it's paid we send you a secure form to tell us about the situation in detail. Your report follows within five working days of receiving it.
Are you connected to any care homes?
No. We are independent of every care provider, so we consider every suitable option and recommend on merit.
How does payment work?
Fees are fixed and confirmed in writing before any work starts. We send an invoice when you decide to go ahead, and research begins once it's paid.
Which areas do you cover?
England, Wales and Jersey. Care works differently in Guernsey, Scotland and Northern Ireland, but you're welcome to ask, and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
What if the people needing care haven't been involved yet?
Our forms ask about this. Where someone can make their own decisions, we need their agreement. Where they can't, we'll ask about any power of attorney or deputyship.
